6 Day/5 Night – One Way Great Gay Drive from Vancouver to Calgary or in reverse

Available: May, June and September + December 20-25

Arrive in Vancouver and collect your car rental at the airport or extend your stay in Vancouver before you head off. We have several two or three night Vancouver packages to choose from, the rest is up to you!

The rates include Unlimited Kilometers, Loss Damage Waiver (LDW), $1Million (CAD) Third Party Liability Insurance Coverage, 1 Additional Driver, Goods and Services Tax (GST), provincial and other taxes, Airport Contract Fees and air conditioning on all vehicles equipped with air conditioning. LDW may exclude a non-waivable amount for damage. This amount is the customers' responsibility. The rates exclude optional coverage such as Personal Accident Insurance Plus (PAI Plus) and Personal Effects Protection (PEP).

Other optional services such as refueling service charges, applicable one-way service fees, additional driver’s fee, baby seats, ski racks, etc. are not included in the rates.

Day 1

Vancouver - Penticton

Offering year-round recreation on the sandy beaches of Okanagan Lake, Penticton boasts the Apex Mountain ski slopes and your choice of seven superb golf courses. The Sandman Hotel Penticton features 141 guest rooms, on-site dining at Denny's restaurant and an indoor pool and whirlpool for total relaxation.

Day 2

Explore the surrounding area to the fullest at the Apex Mountain Resort, plentiful vineyards, brew pubs, micro breweries and restaurants. Stroll the shops, visit the lavender farm or take a leisurely cruise down the Okanagan river channel.

Day 3

Enjoy your stay at The Prestige Lakeside Resort, located on the shores of the West Arm of Kootenay Lake. Tour historic downtown Nelson with a wide array of beautiful heritage buildings or challenge yourself with the range of outdoor activities easily accessible from the resort.

Day 4

Use this leisurely day to shop, take in some art galleries, and heritage attractions or go for a hike or rent a mountain bike. If you’re visiting in the winter, check out the cross-country skiing and dog sledding activities as alternatives or add-ons to regular skiing and snowboarding. Whether you’re interested in parks and wildlife, festivals, tours and sightseeing, arts and culture or just indulging in the food and relaxation, Nelson has something for everyone.

Day 5

Your last night on the tour wouldn’t be complete without a stay at The Prestige Rocky Mountain Resort & Convention Centre. This is an elegant, full service four-and-a-half star Canada Select property situated beside the Canadian Museum of Rail Travel. As a guest of the Prestige Rocky Mountain Resort, you’re in the centre of a recreational paradise. There are activities for all skill levels and ages within a short drive or you can simply put your feet up and enjoy the view from the resort.
