Arrive Halifax and check into your centrally located gay-friendly hotel accommodation where you will stay for the next 2 or 3 nights – you choose!

Halifax is the capital city of Nova Scotia and the economic centre for Canada's East Coast.

With a population of over 400,000, the city of Halifax is the largest city east of Québec and north of Boston, and is home to many diverse communities. It is both cosmopolitan and laid-back, balancing a vibrant entertainment and arts culture with an easy going east coast attitude.   The vibrant LGBT culture is woven into every aspect of Halifax, the gay capital of Atlantic Canada.

Start your East Coast adventure with a Halifax Highlights tour with your kilted driver/guide.  This history and anecdote filled ride through the streets of Halifax will introduce you to one of North America’s most unique and captivating cities.  A great way to start – but for the afternoon you’ll enjoy a real treat – Peggy’s Cove Tour.  The Cove has been an artist and explorers paradise for well over 150 years.  This picturesque postcard village, on the rugged Atlantic Shoreline, stands on solid rock above the crashing surf.  The Lighthouse, the only one in North America to have a post office within it, is the most photographed lighthouse in the world! – A camera is a MUST!  Make sure to walk the village and shop in all the unique, one-of-a-kind boutiques that line this quaint village.

Tonight, The Five Fishermen Restaurant will provide you with a real East Coast culinary experience. The restaurant is known for its Nova Scotian Seafood, prepared with uncompromising quality.  Recognized annually as one of the best dining experiences in Halifax; it is located in one of downtown's most historical buildings with connections to the Titanic and Halifax Explosion.

For those staying on for a third night in Halifax you’re sure to have a great next day.  Start your day with a Whale Watching tour on the Haligonian III, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the cliffs of Chebucto Head at the mouth of Halifax Harbour the waters are rich with sea and wildlife – view minke whales, fin whales, dolphins, seals, tuna, sunfish, and a variety of seabirds with experienced naturalists.

And finally, you’ll tour Alexander Keith’s Nova Scotia Brewery, one of the oldest breweries in Canada, in a massive ironstone and granite building (c 1820). Animators in period costume and character bring 1863 Halifax to life in song and story as they lead guests through Alexander Keith’s beautifully detailed brewhouse and taproom.  Take some extra time here and enjoy some East Coast pub food and Halifax hospitality – what a way to end your trip to Atlantic Canada!
